New Managing Director - Fred Schoonens
Our previous Managing Director, Mr Ivan Bennett who has been busy traveling the globe for the past 7 years has retired and moved into the position of Chairman. We now welcome our new Managing Director, Mr Fred Schoonens who continues to ensure that our process from ingredients, formulation, packaging, logisitcs and ultimate distribution remain consistent in providing growers with the best source of Paclobutrazol in the 21st century.
Great flowering in Tecomon Mexico, but loss of fruits, please explain??
Shahid (aka, BOB) is busy traveling through Mexico. Our customers have reported excellent flowering with AuStar but in one region they have noticed a lot of fruit drop. The answers are simple, not enough watering on the large trees that would require around 1,200 litres per week and low Zinc levels. Lesson learned by growers for the next season we hope!
Mexican lime growers LOVE AuStar!
In 2007 AuStar worked with lime growers to assist with their canopy management but the results provided much more! We have reduced
the need for pruning down to once a year from 3 and have increased the size of the lime as well as given it a rougher texture.
